Message from the Past President

On behalf of the Board, it is my privilege to welcome you to the Calgary Evergreen Community Association (CECA) website, representing one of the most beautiful places to live in Calgary!

The CECA is focused on improving access and enhancing the community we live in. From handling community member issues, to ensuring a voice is at the table with City of Calgary and the Province of Alberta. We have a vision for the future of this community – ensuring our community is a safe place to live-work-play. And it’s people like you who will help us achieve a community with a sense of belonging, spirit and heart.

Whether you are a member of the CECA Board, a volunteer, or attend one of the CECA yearly social events, together our job is to provide a forum for open discussion of the issues facing our neighbourhoods (i.e. future schools, parks, traffic, land use, etc), and to be accountable to the community we serve. It is our promise to represent our residents to the best of our ability and to mature this community.

As the community association for Evergreen, our vision is to “Work Together for Our Community’s Future” by encouraging and fostering membership of community members. You are integral to helping the CECA achieve its mission to truly engage people who live here. You have my commitment that as a community association we will work hard to address the concerns brought forward to this group of dedicated volunteers.

I am proud to announce the launch of this website. Please bookmark it and visit often! Information will be kept current and relevant by our webmasters. It is my hope that it will be a focal point for all of Evergreen’s residents looking for information on what is going on, and how to get involved in making this the best community that it can be.
